Level Design Projects

There isn't much I love more than crafting crazy and fantastical worlds with levels and puzzles that make players smile! Please take a look at some of my level design examples below...

The Knight of the Square Table

This project is a large, single-level 3D platformer composed of tricky platforming, enemies, and even a final boss. I designed, greyboxed, and then added finished art to the entire level.

Gumbearable

Gumbearable is a project I made during a week-long game jam with a small team. It is a 2D-platformer escape room where you play as multiple gummy bear characters at once. I designed much of the level and oversaw playtesting to make it as fun as possible.

De Blob Level Study

The purpose of this level study was to create a "new level" for an already existing game. I was to design a level around the already present mechanics of the game I picked, and then replicate the mechanics and feel of the game as much as possible.

Galactic Ruler

While working at BattleGoat Studios for an internship, I was in charge of how the planets in Galactic Ruler generated. This included their appearance, composition, and balance. While the planets are procedurally generated, I still had to lay the groundwork for how they are presented.

Fandominion

While level design was not my primary role for Fandominion, I was able to design and fully create one of the stages for the game. I also had tons of input on the other stages throughout development, helping the main level designers.
